Pina Coladas and Coconut Bras = Luau (archives of 2006)

Coconuts.  What a weird food. Is it a fruit? Doesn't something have to have seeds to be a fruit??

Fun to shimmy up a tree barefoot and knock em down.  Fun to drill a hole in and drink the milk. Fun to drill a hole in, empty, refill with something good and pop a straw in the hole to drink out of it.  Good for a bra on a dude or a girl dressed for a luau.

Pretty on cakes and cookies.  Yummy scent for lotions, body washes, perfumes and candles.  Yummy in mixed drinks...think Malibu Rum/Pina Colada.

Eating it= Not Good.  Like chewing fingernails or soap shavings. I hate coconuts.

Christmas Picture!!

This is my kid's first Christmas Picture!!  I am so proud of it.  The series of pictures pretty much went, Photo 1: getting ready, out of focus, what do we do??  Photo 2:  This lovely pic and Photo 3: Callie ripping Henry's hand off her shoulder while he continues to hold on tight!!

We had lovely holidays and a ton of fun. We travelled, we left cookies that we baked out for Santa, we enjoyed snow and tons of food and nice naps and family.  It was a wonderful holiday and I am just glad I could get the kids to dress up for 15 minutes to give me this picture!
